(AD) We were invited along to Missy Milieu through Snapsavers.

Snapsaver is a discount app for locals. Over 850 exclusive 50% discounts and offers across Newcastle and North East England.

Missy Milieus is pretty new to the hospitality scene in Newcastle, with a fresh look at an all-day relaxed Bar & Bistro.

Serving food from breakfast through till dinner located at Amen Corner, Newcastle upon Tyne. (Next door to Empress, and up from Newcastle Castle). Just Look for the car outside.

On arrival, you are blowing away with the quirkiness of the bar. Let’s just say it’s very instagrammable!.

They also have charger ports for those day drinkers who’s phones always die when out.

The all-day relaxed Bar & Bistro is dog friendly and allows children in too, families and well-behaved pooches can stay until around 8pm.

The staff will bring a water bowl over to your table for the dog.

And there is highchairs available. However, they don’t offer an kids menu.

And there is steps on the way in to the building, which would be difficult for buggies and wheelchair users.

We kindly got to try their gastronomy extravaganza menu – which is 2 drinks and 2 courses (starter and a main or main and dessert, your choice) from £32 to £40 which I thought was a great price for the value of the food.

They have a meat, sea or plant option when choosing from their menu.

I picked the slow cooked shoulder of lamb on flatbread which was super tender and the mint raita yogurt and Cajun chips went down a treat together.

My auntie got the tender feather-blade of beef which smelt incredibly delicious as it was placed onto the table. ( I will have to try this one next time).

We both got the sticky toffee pudding with icecream, and this was delicious too. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal here and will 100% return.
