AD – Exciting changes to Grainger Delivery from the 14th October and much more.

The Grainger Market was opened in 1835 and home to many small businesses and self-employed independent traders. Located in the heart of the city centre.

As covid-19 began to make its move, and business started to close, Grainger Delivery was the Market Traders answer to the global pandemic crisis.

Grainger Delivery recognised that during the global health crisis it was essential that they worked as a City-wide community to ensure we all get the food provisions we all need and want – safely and at an affordable price.

Grainger Delivery gives you the opportunity to shop online from their local and independent traders, that you know and love when shopping in their market.

They’ve developed greatly since they first launched their online delivery service and have a lot more exciting plans coming into place over the next few weeks.

Phillips & Wilde launch new products:

Phillips and Wilde also have been working on a new hamper box just in time for Christmas, including a range of preserves to add to their collection which you will be able to access from the Christmas shop also.

Phillips and Wilde have worked together to curate some of the finest quality produce from the North into luxury Hampers.

Phillips and Wilde Hampers are all packed with some of the North’s best, often multi-award winning artisan producers. And their hampers are available to ship across mainland UK.

AD – on the day of the press event, I was gifted a ready meal and preserve.

Their new preserves are made in their own kitchen. With a choice of sweet and savoury options, they are little jars of delight – great for the Christmas season coming up to add to your baking treats or straight from the jar to add to your festive boards, you won’t be disappointed.

And If you need cheese for those boards, don’t forget about Matthews Cheese with a range of 200 types of cheese.

The mama’s perspective: “ I got to sample these beautiful jars full of flavour and delight, my favourites from the savoury collection was the Spicy Chilli Chutney, They got the spice just right – not over powering and got that right balance of taste and warmth…

… I also really enjoyed their caramelised onion and The classic Piccadilly from their savoury range. As-well as the fruitiness from their orange marmalade to top it off from the sweet collection”.

And the launch of Grainger Kitchen – Ready Meals:

Grainger Delivery are also launching their own ready meals with six different premium quality dishes.

The choices available: Fish Pie, Lamb Stew, Classic Shepards pie, Beef Bourguignon, Chicken Tikka Masala, and their vegetarian dish – Chilli non Carne.

The mama’s perspective: “ I got to sample these microwave meals at their press event and I would have never have guessed they had came out of the microwave…

The ready meals actually had meat in for once and to a high standard quality, very tender as if they had been slow cooked.

And they were also full of spice and seasoning which really brought that overall taste and quality to the dishes”.

Also shop their Halloween collection..
