We were kindly invited along Prego Pub and Eatery, which is new to the Seaburn scene.

We parked in their on-site car park, however there was a car park next door which you have to pay for.

On arrival, we headed to the bar which has a very quirky style to venue. There is many locals who head there just for a quick drink or to spend their weekends socialising.

They have a great cocktail menu, as-well as a selection of spirits, beer, ciders and wine to choose from too.

They also have an games room which is for family nights out.

They have interactive darts where you can battle through different virtual games with full graphics and scoring. This allows up to 6 players and cost £10.

And secondly is the shuffleboard, which seem to be trending in many pubs at the moment – this is £5.

The kids have a small but selective menu. The girls picked pizza and pasta, which the sizing was just right for them.

They enjoyed their meal with the bolognese being yummy. And then ended it with an ice-cream which really finished off the meal for the younger ones.

The staff bring over the ice-cream chosen from strawberry, chocolate, vanilla or bubblegum alongside any sauce, and they have a selection of jars that are filled with toppings to pick from as they sprinkle them on in-front of you.

Prego has an extensive menu with general pub grub to an Italian twist with a list of pastas and pizzas alongside topped Mac and cheeses.

If you can’t decide between pizza or pasta, you can pick from half and half. I had the bolognese and spicy pepperoni pizza – this was a decent size. and wasn’t too overly spicy for those who can’t do spicy food. The charge £13.50 for half and half.

The Prego Mac & Cheese Signature plates are done al forno using their homemade cheese sauce and traditional macaroni.

Served with rustic bread, there is 5 options to pick from, we had the shredded hoisin duck with spring onion, the spring onions were the best part, the taste made my mouth water.

They also have a Sunday dinner menu too.
