Winter wonderland at Rainton arena has opened its doors to the public to bring lots of fun and festive cheer!.

Their wonderland includes fairground rides, drinks and food stalls, a tipi, ice-rink and Santa’s grotto.

This is free entry, rides cost around £2-4 at the moment. From tea cups to dodgems, to the ghost train and trampoline – they have something for all ages.

They also have hook a ducks and other game stands to win items.

They also have a snow slide, which was one of our favourite rides, we also loved taking the girls on the waltzers for first time and watching them smile and laugh with excitement.

If your feeling peckish or thirsty after all that fairground fun – they have plenty of food and drink stalls.

They have their burger van – which has your favourite funfair hot snacks – burgers, hotdogs, Chinese noodles and much more.

As-well as a sweet stand, hot chocolate area and also a sweet tooth stand which sells donuts, etc.

They have a seating area right nearby which you can chill and have a drink or snack whilst the kids play on the funfair rides.

They also have an winter wonderland tipi, where you can purchase alcohol from – from ciders to mulled wine and spirits.

They have a fire pit laid out in areas which is perfect to warm up after a walk around on the cold nights.

They also have an ice rink, you have book via online. This is a real Open Air Ice Rink.

This is open daily and they say ideally for children above 3 And all Abilities, Skates And Support Polar Bears Available For The Little Ones.

The polar bears really come in handy especially when you have more then one child.

It’s A Great Family Activity Which The Kids Will Love.

The Santa’s grotto is also up for booking.

All Children Require A Ticket To See Santa, Including Under 2s. Babes In Arms (Under 6 Months) Do Not Require A Ticket If They Are Accompanying Another Paying Child Unless You Would Like Them To Have The Full Santa Experience With Gift.

On arrival to the grotto they’ve really put in the detail to making that run up to Santa’s workshop magical, you are firstly greeted by an elf too.

The elf will walk you though the grotto, where you will see lots of life sized props from gingerbreads, reindeers and much more. They are great for photograph opportunities.
