Rotary Way, North Shields NE29 6DA
Gutterball Alley is a stylised 1950s-feel bowling alley with American dining, ping pong plus a trendy bar and restaurant situated in North Shields.
We were kindly gifted tickets to experience gutterballs slime and bowl session. They have alternative sessions such as Lego and bowl too, these sessions cost £6 per child.
On arrival, we checked in at the desk. They had tables set out with colouring sheets and pens laid out for the children to colour before the session to started.
The staff demonstrated how to make slime in a fun and interactive way with the children at first, then they allowed them to make their own.
They get a plastic bag which they are to write their names on, this is for the children to pop their slime in to take home.
The staff bring around the ingredients for the kids to pop into their plastic cups, they get spoons so they can stir it all together. It is pretty easy aslong as you follow the instructions and the staff are there to help.
They also have juice during their sessions which are accessible.
After the slime session, you head back over to the desk to check in for your game of bowling, this was one game – this only included the children, but you can pay extra for the adults.
The bowling lay-out looked fabulous. And the girls really enjoyed bowling.
They have different weights for the bowls. The girls stuck with 8/10 to make it easier for them. They used the equipment to make it easier for them to play at first then decided to play using their hands.
Gutterball also has an area with pool and mini golf.
They also have an arcade, I could not see any cash points around so I would bring money with you. They also have a machine you can get change from if you only have notes.
They also have a restaurant/bar area, they have kids menu too which looks great.
