Fisherman’s Bay is located on the front of the sea front supplying British Classic, Fish and Chips to perfection.

Fisherman’s bay is part of The Dhillon family which started over 25 years ago.

They take great care ensuring that they only use sustainable fish and British farmed potatoes, resulting in the freshest of flavours.

They have an indoor restaurant and also an outdoor terrace which is outside their restaurant and also if you cross over the road, they have tables laid out right next to the beach.

I was really impressed with the interior and layout of the restaurant, it’s such a peaceful and fresh set out. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

I ordered the battered halloumi fritters with chips. The halloumi fritters are shaped like fingers that are seasoned and fried in golden chrisps batter. I really enjoyed them, especially when dipped in the sweet chilli jam.

This is their own jam/sauce that you can purchase in tubs too when taking out.

They do also offer any other sauces that they will bring over too.

We also ordered fish and chips. The chips were amazing, the first time around they were Better as the oil was less cleaner than the second time around. The fish was super fresh and tasted delicious.

You can take-out and also ring up to collect if needed. On our first night at Whitley bay, we ordered and took outside to sit out, we had cheesy chips and I will say they were one of the best we have tried.

They also have a children’s menu in place too.
