The latest hottest burger joint has dropped onto West Road, Newcastle, and wow, it is like they were prepped in heaven. Tonight, I was invited along to the pre-launch of Burger Drop.
Burger Drop have been working very hard over the lockdown to bring you north easters a new food business during a pandemic. The takeaway is located on west road, at the top of wingrove road. And many of you’s may remember it as the old wingrove chippy.
Their opening date for the public is Friday 11th December, 5pm. Takeaway only.
On arrival, the branding was sharpe, modern and bold with a sophisticated twist to the inside interior. The staff were super friendly and chatty.
I tried their grilled onion cheese burger and wow, oh wow! – the beef was cooked to perfection, literally fell apart in my mouth, that type of good!. They had the taste as-well as the presentation! (I would highly recommend this one 😍🤤).
The house-cut fries, McDonald’s literally doesn’t have a look in when it comes to these fries. – thin cut and tasted amazing, their the best type.
Alongside these, I also added in a second burger, couldn’t say no to a bit of chicken, you chicken lovers, will love this one! I ordered the American chicken burger, the chicken was super fresh and cooked just right. They also have the European chicken burger which also has coldsaw on, which looks unreal too.
I recently purchased their wings, not long after the review. I love chicken so when I seen they were launching wings onto their menu, I had to try!.
I would have preferred them to be marinated rather than tossed in sticky bbq sauce but they were good and defiantly worthy of a side.
There are 3 different flavours available: Hot & Spicy, Salt & Pepper and Sticky BBQ! – priced at £4.50.
These burgers were so delicious, literally I didn’t want the burger to come to an end. So juicy so tasty, I have tried these burgers in alot of places and found them quite bland, but oh my oh my, burger drop was a 10/10 and their skin on fries, what can I say. Newcastle has bought the finest burger place ever.
